There is a small sign on this bookcase, saying:
You see evidence of a lot of shelving going on. Books are being shoved around rather willy-nilly to make room for others; clearly, someone is trying to get these bookcases a little more up-to-snuff.
There is a copy of Spenser's The Faerie Queene. Rather nice, too -- a pretty, indexed copy of the 1882 edition. And a heavily annotated edition of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
There is a remarkably thick book marked The Labyrinth: Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About the Middle Ages, and an even thicker book called simply History.
There is a pretty little art book, called The Art of Le Louvre. Also, an interesting one called Dance in the Renaissance.
There are also a bunch of other books randomly strewn about; maybe someone will come along and finish picking them up...
